Pharmacological properties

Fipronil disrupts the nervous system activity in parasites. The death of insects occurs 8 hours after the insecto-acaricide enters the insect's body as a result of hyperexcitation of the central nervous system.

Benzyl benzoate penetrates the chitin layer and accumulates in the body of the parasite in toxic concentrations, causing its death.

Juvemon interrupts the development cycle of parasites, and does not allow them to develop into an adult parasite that can reproduce; thus, juvemon reliably protects the animal and its place of keeping from re-infection.

Juvemon is an analog of natural juvenile hormones, causing the following:

  • Morphogenetic effect – violation of the natural course of metamorphosis in older larvae;
  • Ovicidal effect – suppressing the embryonic development of the insect in the egg and preventing the hatching of a viable larva.

Yuvemon is an antagonist of another group of insect hormones – ecdysones, which regulate the transformation of larvae into an adult insect.

Diethyltoluamide (DETA) is used as a repellent that effectively repels mosquitoes.

Usage and dosage

The trunk of the animals is treated from a distance of 25-30 cm against the hair growth, slightly moistening the coat at a dose of 1 cm3 of the spray (one full press on the sprayer) per 1 kg of the animal weight outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.

Ears are treated by covering the eyes and the nose of the animal.

Around the eyes and nose, the drug is rubbed with the tips of the fingers.

Repeated treatment of animals is carried out not more than once a month. During the maximal activity of ticks, additional spray treatment of the paws and lower torso of the dogs is recommended before the walk.

In sarcoptosis and notoedrosis, 2-4 treatments are performed with an interval of 5-7 days at the rate of 1 cm3 of the spray (one full push on the spray) per 10 cm2 of the affected area of the animal's body.

Bedding and blankets are treated at the dose of 30 cm3 of the spray (30 full taps on the sprayer) per 1 m2; booths, cages, cracks in the floor, skirting boards and animal care items are treated at the dose of 15 cm3 of the spray spray (15 full taps on the sprayer) per 1 m2. After 1-2 hours, the room is ventilated, and the treated surfaces are cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.

Animals should not be allowed to lick the drug until the coat is completely dry. It is not recommended to bathe the animal within 48 hours after the treatment.

High quality and safety

BlohNet spray effectively acts against external parasites at all stages of their development (eggs, larvae, adult insects). The drug destroys fleas, lice, chewing lice, larvae and imagines of ixodid ticks and sarcoptoid mites, and also possesses a repellent effect against blood-sucking mosquitoes.

The results of the tests showed that the active substances of BlohNet spray are non-toxic and do not cause allergic reactions in animals.
